Submitting domain
offers via e-mail requires an active mail server. Since many users do not
have a mail server, and those who do have it may not know how to configure
it, D.R.T. Is capable of sending e-mail offers from the D.R.T. Server making
the e-mail look as if it's coming from the address specified in the e-mail
field.
So, other than
inputting your regular e-mail address into the e-mail field, no other work
is required to send automated offer e-mails.

If you wish to
use your own mail server select the "Use my e-mail server" option
and input the required data into the proper fields. Custom e-mail servers
must be compatible with the SMTP mail protocol (99% are).
Remember to edit
the mail template before sending out automated messages. To edit the template
simply click on the "Mail Template" tab and edit whatever fields
you wish.
The following
variables are reserved and are replaced with actual values when the e-mail
is dispatched:
- $domain
-The domain for which the offer is being sent. This is an optional variable
and is not required to send offers but is recommended.
- $offer
- The offer value for the specific domain. Remember to include an extra
$ (as a dollar sign) before the "$offer". This is an optional
variable and is not required to send offers but is recommended.
The above two
variables are replaced in "run time". You may test your template
and e-mail settings by pressing the "Test E-mail" button. This will
result in a test offer for domain test.com being e-mailed to the address specified
in the E-Mail field.
